Day 1 2

When arriving to the hospital, after noticing some abnormalities in my 3 days old baby, she went under some examinations. The results were a bit sad for the family. She was found with severe congenital heart disease. You can imagine how painful. I had to leave her in the hospital to start the treatment waiting for the surgery.

At that moment it was difficult for me to see at the bright side of things. I was feeling the world was falling on me. The feeling didn’t take so long because when living at the hospital, I was seeing different cases of babies, kids and so on. I started to see the bright side of things and I was thankful that my baby’s heart was going to be repaired soon or later, etc.

There are moments in life when things are not going as we could like them to move, we get stuck. Sometimes it just needs us to open our eyes and hearts.
